I have been connected with the world of art for almost all my life. In Kraków, I graduated from a music school and an art high school, and later completed university studies in International Relations. In Poznań, I simultaneously studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, before eventually travelling to Vienna to explore the craft of guitar making under the guidance of the renowned luthier Leszek Gajdzik, and occasionally Nupi Jenner.
After three years of working in guitar construction, I returned to Poland.
Having already built a dozen or so instruments, I decided to open my own workshop, which has since grown into one of the most modern guitar-making workshops in Europe.
Many soloists and chamber musicians play my guitars, including Cordanza Duo and Cracow Guitar Quartet. I am also pleased that students of music academies, as well as pupils of music schools, are eager to choose my instruments. They have gone on to achieve top results in dozens of international competitions. Among them are Maria Korzeniowska, who was named Internet Guitar World Champion in 2016, and the Felice Guitar Quartet, which won First Prize in the ensemble category at the 2018 Guitar Foundation of America competition in the USA, widely regarded as the world’s most prestigious guitar competition. The quartet has played on four of my guitars since its foundation.
Since 2018, the most widely recognised Polish composer of guitar music, Tatiana Stachak, has also been performing on an instrument of my own design.
After ten years of activity, my guitars are now played on three continents: in Europe, as well as in the Americas and Asia.
