This unique event is designed to compare instruments from different luthier workshops under the same acoustic conditions. During the presentation, the same excerpt of a musical piece is performed by one guitarist in succession on different guitars provided by master luthiers.
Audience members can assess the qualities of each instrument, such as sound projection, tonal and dynamic range, and tonal balance. This comparison makes it possible to appreciate the distinctive tonal characteristics resulting from different design concepts and the various materials used in the construction of the instruments.
