Photography Exhibition “Silesian Guitar Autumn 2022: Grzegorz Krzysztofik and Artur Pławski”
Silesian Guitar Autumn. Music which naturally evokes associations with colours—red, rust-yellow leaves, and the warm sun setting earlier each evening. This is the most atmospheric, warmest, and richest season of the year, yet in the light of glowing candles, it swiftly transitions into cosiness. And amidst all of this, in these images, are the metallic sounds of masterful strings. The guitar, along with its resonance, romantic significance, memories, dreams, and magic…
This is how Beata Mendrek vividly describes her associations with our festival. The fine art photographer curates the photography exhibition, where the most intriguing pictures from Silesian Guitar Autumn 2022 are on display.
In the cultural space of Gemini Park Tychy shopping centre, at the Window on Culture, from 13 September to 4 November, visitors can experience the festival atmosphere and marvel at the details and brilliance of the artists captured in the frame of 45 photographs by Artur Pławski and Grzegorz Krzysztofik.
