Six finalists of the Guitar Competition

AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy

During this concert, exceptionally held at high noon, the six finalists – chosen from among twenty-five young guitar adepts qualified for the second round of the competition – will perform one of their chosen concertos. It will be a special and demanding performance, because the soloists will be accompanied by the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy under the direction of maestro Marek Moś. 

The programme includes six performances of guitar concertos, played by the finalists of Jan Edmund Jurkowski International Guitar Competition. The finalists will perform one of the two mandatory pieces: Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo or Concerto No. 1 in D Major, Op. 99  by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
