The classes will be led by outstanding guitarists, university professors, and members of the competition jury: Marcin Dylla (Poland), Martin Krajčo (Slovakia), Thomas Offerman (Germany), Beata Będkowska-Huang (Poland), Pepe Payá (Spain), Petr Saidl (Czech Republic), and József Eötvös (Hungary). Each instructor represents a distinctive artistic tradition and brings extensive concert and teaching experience, offering participants valuable insights into different approaches to interpretation and repertoire preparation.
The masterclasses are an integral part of the festival programme and are primarily intended for participants of the Jan Edmund Jurkowski International Guitar Competition. They provide a unique opportunity to receive valuable artistic guidance, consult competition repertoire, and gain inspiration for further musical development.
All classes are open to the public. Passive attendance is free of charge, allowing both young guitarists and music enthusiasts to observe the working process between distinguished pedagogues and participants. Registration for active participants of the competition takes place at the Festival Reception located in Hotel Arena.
We warmly invite you to take part in this exceptional educational event, which has long been one of the most important elements of the Silesian Guitar Autumn Festival.
A detailed schedule will be published soon.
