The final stage of the prestigious Competition will take place with the participation of AUKSO – Chamber Orchestra of the City of Tychy under the baton of maestro Justyna Kwarcińska. The audience will have the opportunity to hear as many as six performances of guitar concertos, in which the soloists will be the finalists of the Jan Edmund Jurkowski International Guitar Competition. The repertoire will feature two works: the audience-beloved Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, and the optimistic and energetic Concerto No. 1 in D major, Op. 99 composed by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
This extraordinary event, during which young musicians will have the opportunity to perform a piece accompanied by an orchestra of such immense international renown, highlights the role of the competition as one of the most important international guitar competitions, attracting young talents from all over the world.
