Jakub Kościuszko, one of the artists who will perform during this year’s Silesian Guitar Autumn, has just released a unique album. Music of Harvey Hope is the world premiere of the works of an English composer Harvey Hope (1943-2014).

Kościuszko, together with Radom Chamber Orchestra, directed by the outstanding conductor Szymon Morus, recorded (among others) two compositions for guitar and orchestra: the two-part Fantasy Op. 55 and Concertino “De Madrugada ” Op. 56. The album was released by the Small Great Music publishing house.

In October, as a part of our Festival, at Mediateka in Tychy, during the concert entitled Harvey Hope – Unfinished Works,  we will hear the composer’s works performed by Jakub Kościuszko and Radom Chamber Orchestra conducted by Szymon Morus. The concert will include the premiere of yet another of Hope’s works, The Lake from Three Symphonic Poems Op. 52 for chamber orchestra.
