Andrzej Grygier won Jan Edmund Jurkowski International Guitar Competition

We have just met the winners of Jan Edmund Jurkowski International Guitar Competition, held as part of the 19th Silesian Guitar Autumn 2024 in the City of Tychy!
By the decision of the jury this year’s winner is Andrzej Grygier from Poland.
The winner of the first prize received:
– a financial award of EUR 5.000
– voucher – discout 50% for case worth 1355 EUR
– an Adrian Kobza concert guitar with case worth 16000 PLN
– recitals at guitar festivals in the following cities: Balatonfüred 2025 (Hungary), Bratislava 2025 (Slovakia), Kutná Hora 2026 (Czech Republic), Krynica-Zdrój 2024 (Poland), Olsztyn 2025 (Poland), Tychy 2026 (Poland)
The winner of the second prize is Marcin Kuźniar from Poland, who received:
– a financial award of EUR 2.500
The winner of the third prize is Tomasz Radziszewski from Poland who received:
– a financial award of EUR 1.000
In addition, special prizes were awarded:
